After School: Miniatures Galore
This mini after school class is BIG fun! The thing about miniatures is the possibilities are endless and we will discover that over the rest of the school year. Save money by registering for the whole course. If that doesn’t work for your schedule, no worries, we have the class broken up so you can do smaller chunks of time. Each session will be different and explore new materials and themes. All supplies are included!
 
*Bus Transportation is available from the Elementary School to the Middle School where an Art Hub Staff Member will meet the kids and walk them over to Art Hub for class.  Please indicate if you plan on taking the bus. 
 
**Art Hub’s After School program qualifies for the DCFSA.

REGISTER FOR INDIVIDUAL THEMES:
ACCESSORIES & FURNITURE: (5 weeks)
We start off session learning different techniques to make detailed accessories and furniture. Using different mediums, air dry clay, clay, polymer clay, shrinky dinks, cardboard, found objects, paper and much more to create the cutest accessories and furniture you have ever seen! These pieces can be used in the other projects created throughout the course.

CREATE A MINI ROOM: (5 weeks)
We spend 5 weeks creating a mini room with all the details. From designing the floor, wallpaper, wall art and frames, to the furniture and accessories to complete their own unique room. We will use a variety of mediums and found objects to make our rooms just like we want them.
Dates: Feb 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19th

MINIATURE TIN SCENE: (6 weeks) 
Now that we have some experience under our belts, let’s challenge ourselves by going even smaller! First everyone will get a little tin to transform into a miniature scene. The smallest portable miniature room ever! We will use a variety of mediums to make our tin dreams come true.  The second half everyone will get a second tin to make a mini pet home. We will learn how to hand sew to make stuffed animals, clothes, blankets, and accessories to decorate the tin, making it a perfect little tin bed.
Dates: April  2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7th

Cost: $165.00 ( Only $28 a class!)
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY MARCH 19TH
 
FAIRY GARDEN: (3 weeks)
It’s spring time! We will celebrate by creating our own miniature fairy gardens. Using all our skills over the course we can design and create the cutest little figurines and accessories to make each unique fairy garden. We will also incorporate succulents into our gardens!
Date: May 14, 21, 28th
Day: Wednesdays
Cost: $115.00 (Only $37 a class- all supplies included for creating live fairy gardens plants, special dirt, rocks, polymer clay, ect)

    • We are located at 145 W Main St. in Cambridge, WI. There is ample public parking behind the building. We request that all class participants enter through our rear door after business hours - anytime after 5:00 pm. Our classes take place at the back of the building, you may use the front door during open hours.

    • We MUST receive 4+ registrations to hold a class, registration closes one week prior to class start date. If the class does not meet minimum registration, it is subject to reschedule or cancellation. We always prioritize rescheduling a class first.  If a class is rescheduled, you will have the option to sign up for the rescheduled date, or be issued credit towards a future class. If we are not able to reschedule and must cancel a class, we will issue you credit towards a future class (no cash refunds). If you aren’t able to attend the class and it is past the registration deadline, no class credit will be issued.

    • All tools and materials will be supplied by Art Hub for your class, unless otherwise noted.

    • This is an active art environment, dress for a mess! Art Hub has aprons you can use, and you are also welcome / encouraged to bring your own apron.
