After School: Polyomer Clay Caning
Polymer clay caning is a technique that involves working out a two-dimensional design on a three-dimensional rod, or cane, and then layering it into a three-dimensional piece. The design can be intricate, featuring patterns like flowers, faces, checkerboards, or stripes. The colors used can also be part of the design. And now YOU Can learn how to do this! Join Katie for three fun afternoons learning how and creating different canes.
 
*Bus Transportation is available from CES to the Middle School where an Art Hub Staff Member will meet the kids and walk them over to Art Hub for class.  Please indicate if you plan on taking the bus.

    • We are located at 145 W Main St. in Cambridge, WI. There is ample public parking behind the building. We request that all class participants enter through our rear door after business hours - anytime after 5:00 pm. Our classes take place at the back of the building, you may use the front door during open hours.

    • We MUST receive 4+ registrations to hold a class, registration closes one week prior to class start date. If the class does not meet minimum registration, it is subject to reschedule or cancellation. We always prioritize rescheduling a class first.  If a class is rescheduled, you will have the option to sign up for the rescheduled date, or be issued credit towards a future class. If we are not able to reschedule and must cancel a class, we will issue you credit towards a future class (no cash refunds). If you aren’t able to attend the class and it is past the registration deadline, no class credit will be issued.

    • All tools and materials will be supplied by Art Hub for your class, unless otherwise noted.

    • This is an active art environment, dress for a mess! Art Hub has aprons you can use, and you are also welcome / encouraged to bring your own apron.
